Whew!

It's finally over. The moment we all wished and prayed(figuratively) would happen did. Barack Obama is our new leader and hopefully the world will be better for it. , Knowing I wouldn't be worrying anymore how this election was going to be stolen somehow, there was a weight lifted off of myself this morning. I feel optimistic for the first time in a long time, that real change will happen. I am still frightened by the fact that some members of our society are still backward enough to elect someone like Ted Stevens, back into office AFTER 7 FELONY CONVICTIONS! I feel we can now safely marginalize those neighbors to the North as wackjobs. Anyway, back to the sunshine and rainbows world we now live in...Please make Jesse Jackson part of your new White House staff. Maybe a your personal valet, basketball polisher, or liaison to Todd Stroger. You know...something really degrading.
